Research Projects & Interests
My lab focuses on research, innovation, and public engagement to advance urban sustainability and community resilience through a socio-ecological systems perspective. We specialize in urban and landscape ecology and environmental and community planning, aiming to build, manage, and restore healthy, resilient, and biodiverse environments. Recent funded projects include research on landscape architecture solutions to biodiversity loss, measuring landscape performance of marsh ecosystems, and exploring the biodiversity and community benefits of land banking properties.
